Regarding the story "Ending hiatus, whaling fleet to leave for Antarctica" in the Dec. 1 edition, we will not be helping the Japanese attain their economic goals after hearing the news about resuming the slaughter of whales.

My Subaru will be the last product I buy made in Japan until this barbarism ends permanently. It reveals that dark forces still hold sway in the elites' structure, alike to those that led to disaster in the past. Putting on a civilized appearance, as we know full well, does not change an evil heart and wounds a culture often besmirched by misogynistic and opportunistic primitives.

This behavior will cost the Japanese economy far more than the crime so falsely titled as "research" and will lessen the regard in which Japan is held in the world at large, if only because of ignoring a world court ruling, thereby setting a precedent for ignoring the rule of law.
