Democratic Party for the People leader Yuichiro Tamaki has highlighted the importance of promoting wealth redistribution to get the economy moving.
The administration of Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is “lacking a sense of speed and failing to promote wealth redistribution,” Tamaki said in a recent interview held ahead of the July election for the House of Councilors, the upper chamber of the Diet, Japan’s parliament.
