Honda Motor Co.'s U.S. aviation arm said Tuesday it has begun accepting orders for its new small business jet in the Middle East, anticipating growing demand in the region.

Honda Aircraft Co. said the HondaJet Elite, with a passenger capacity of up to seven, will be sold through Jetex Flight Support, a general airplane sales company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The business jets, targeting rich individual customers and companies, will be offered to Middle Eastern countries including the United Arab Emirates and Turkey.
