Osaka-based Daikin Industries Ltd. has bought the Indonesian firm PT. Tata Solusi Pratama, which has marketed Daikin's industrial air conditioners in that country.
Daikin acquired Tata Solusi from its Singapore-based holding company for more than ¥1 billion, with an eye to boosting sales to corporate customers, including Japanese, European and U.S. firms expanding into Indonesia, the firm said Thursday.
