The last stretch of Toei Subway's four lines was connected to the mobile phone network Wednesday, making mobile access available on all Tokyo subway lines.

Tokyo Metro Co., the other, larger subway operator in the capital, took all nine of its lines online last week, apart from a short segment between the adjacent Kotakemukaihara and Senkawa stops on the Yurakucho Line.

On Toei Subway, the last offline portion covers six stations between Ochiai-minami-nagasaki and Hikarigaoka on the Oedo Line, according to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and telecommunications companies.

The mobile phone network involves NTT DoCoMo Inc., KDDI Corp., which runs the au mobile phone service, Softbank Mobile Corp. and eAccess Ltd.
