Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry K.K. unveiled large oval coins made of 770 grams of pure gold Tuesday to mark the 770th anniversary this summer of the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival in Fukuoka.

The coins, measuring about 15 cm by 9.5 cm, will be put on the market Wednesday for ¥7.70 million each, along with a smaller version measuring 11 cm by 6.5 cm and weighing 77 grams priced at ¥770,000, according to the Tokyo-based jewelry store.

The coins are engraved with the festival's name and a shrine seal.
