Teijin Ltd. said the full manufacturing activity of its group resumed Monday after being disrupted by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami now that its plastics-making arm has restarted full production.

Of the group's two damaged plants, Teijin DuPont Films Japan Ltd.'s factory in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, made a full recovery Monday after another one in Ibaraki Prefecture did so in late March, Teijin said.

The company added, however, that it cannot precisely assess as of now the impact of the temblor on its earnings performance for the fiscal year ending next March.
