A group of Democratic Party of Japan lawmakers headed by Secretary General Ichiro Ozawa plans to visit China next month, the ruling party announced.
The delegation for the four-day visit starting Dec. 10. will be made up of 140 DPJ lawmakers and more than 400 other participants. Meetings between Ozawa and Chinese leaders, including President Hu Jintao, were still being arranged, the DPJ said Tuesday.
