Defense chief Fukushiro Nukaga said Friday he will meet with U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld in Washington on Sunday afternoon in a bid to iron out differences over Japan's share of the cost of relocating 8,000 U.S. Marines to Guam.
Nukaga said "slight differences" remain between Japan and the U.S. over the matter.
