Industrial output rose a seasonally adjusted 0.4 percent in January from the previous month, the government said Monday, revising upward its preliminary estimate from 0.3 percent growth, based on new data from electrical component and device makers.
The index of production at mines and factories registered 105.3 against a base of 100 in 2000, reaching a record high based on the 2000 standards, which retrospectively apply to data beginning in January 1998, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said.
