The government gave permission Friday to Bangkok Airways to start services between Hiroshima and Bangkok next month, the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry said.
The airline is to start three round-trip flights a week from Dec. 2, bringing the total number of foreign airlines using Japanese airports to 74.
It will be the second Thai operator flying to Japan, after Thai Airways, the ministry said.
