Credit Saison Co. said Monday it has teamed up with online brokerage Monex Inc. to sell investment trust products to its 16 million credit card holders.
The tieup follows the liberalization of the stock brokerage business in April, which allows ordinary corporations and individuals to broker securities trading, the credit card company said.
Credit Saison said it will start assigning qualified staff to its credit card service counters mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area to market Monex's investment trusts and promote the opening of securities accounts.
