Iwao Nakatani, president of Tama University, and more than 20 information technology-related companies have jointly founded an organization to produce professionals versed in electronic business, founders said.
Nakatani heads eBusiness Producer Forum, which will nurture people familiar with both state-of-the-art technologies and management skills.
The founding companies include NTT Data Corp., CSK Corp. and ASCII Corp.
The forum is set to devise an examination to issue certificates to qualified applicants and create new job opportunities for them. It has an office within Cprod Inc., a Tokyo-based supplier of e-business personnel.
