Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori will arrive in Japan on Sunday for a visit with Prime Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto and to attend a symposium on Japanese-Latin American economic exchanges, Foreign Ministry officials said Wednesday.
Fujimori will also have an audience with the Emperor and Empress, the officials said. The visit, to continue through Wednesday, will further promote friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, they said.
