Pizza and chocolate are two delicious foods, but together they don't make for a tasty treat.
That's evident when you try Tirol's new Cheese & Pizza chocolates (¥130 without tax). Each individually wrapped pizza-flavored chocolate has a crunchy cookie center and tastes faintly of Neapolitan pizza — that someone accidentally dumped white chocolate on.
Not even the dried basil flakes mixed in with the chocolate can salvage the taste. If you're brave enough to try them, they're sold at Lawson convenience stores.
