Herbal mojitos for the summer

Through the end of August, the Hotel Century Southern Tower in Shinjuku is offering original mojitos to help customers refresh during the hot, humid summer, at the hotel’s lounge and bar South Court on the 20th floor.

The mojito is a popular summer cocktail and the hotel has arranged two original herbal mojitos, featuring fresh herbs, organic herbal syrups and Dominican white rum Brugal Blanco, mixed with soda water.

The Peaceful Mojito has a fresh scent and sweet flavor, featuring elderflower syrup and dill. The Healing Mojito is made of grapefruit juniper berry syrup and lemongrass, the brisk taste of which adds a refreshing touch. Customers can crush the herbs to bring out more flavor, according to their taste.

The mojitos are available at bar time, from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (until 11 p.m. on Sundays and holidays).

Each mojito costs ¥1,501, including tax and a service charge.

The Hotel Century Southern Tower is a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku Station (various lines). For more information, call 03-5354-0111 or visit www.southerntower.co.jp .
