Through Nov. 30, the Westin Tokyo is holding a "Superfood Buffet" at The Terrace restaurant.

Superfood is a term sometimes used for foods that are considered particularly nutritious or otherwise beneficial to health — preventing lifestyle diseases such as cancer and heart disease, improving immunity and reducing bad cholesterol.

As part of The Westin's ongoing commitment to offer its guests superfoods to help them lead better lives with healthful habits, the buffet will include 10 cold and 12 hot dishes using 25 superfoods, created by executive chef Toshio Numajiri to best elicit the synergistic effects of those foods. There will also be some 30 regular buffet items.
