The Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so will hold a monthlong "La Festa Italiana" of Italian cuisine, art and fashion, as an official event of "Italia in Giappone 2009," the government promotion supported by the Embassy of Italy in Tokyo and the Italian State Tourist Board.

As part of the festival, the hotel's Il Teatro restaurant will serve special menus featuring the cuisine of three Italian regions.

From Sept. 1 to 9, Il Teatro's executive chef, Leonardo Di Clemente, will create original menus based on the cuisine of Apulia, his home region, with wines from the area.
