LONDON – Dark Western “The Power of the Dog” scooped the top two honors at the British Academy Film Awards on Sunday, winning best film and director for Jane Campion, while sci-fi epic “Dune” picked up the most prizes.
Japanese director Ryusuke Hamaguchi snagged the award for best film not in the English language for “Drive My Car” at the London-based event, giving the slow-burning drama an outside chance of going one better at the Oscars on March 28.
