Knee injury rules midfielder Toshihiro Aoyama out of World Cup
Sanfrecce Hiroshima defensive midfielder Toshihiro Aoyama has been ruled out of the World Cup starting next month in Russia because of a right knee injury, the Japan Football Association said Thursday.
