Bring it on
Jin, a beautiful dapple 4-year-old Akita, is a special-needs dog. An irreversible eye problem led to his total loss of sight and, though he had no problem adjusting, he does need someone who is happy to work as his trustworthy and considerate partner. Weighing in at just over 30 kg, Jin is about the size of a small German shepherd. He adores walking and will stay close to your side as he uses your body as his guide. Affectionate and gentle, Jin has a lot to teach about life and about weathering its challenges with courage and a can-do attitude. He'll show you that being blind doesn't mean being beaten and that he's not really disabled at all. Jin is differently abled.
