Find out who wrote the Sept. 10 Kyodo brief "Foreign infant left at baby hatch." I'm sorry, but "foreign infant" is a very bad description. Was the baby abandoned at Jikei Hospital in Kumamoto half Japanese? Was it Caucasian? Is it "foreign" if it was born in Japan? As the baby will probably be raised by a Japanese family, calling it "foreign" is just silly.
