When Diana Khor gained the spotlight as the first foreign national to become president of Hosei University in Tokyo in its 145-year history, she considered how to best use the attention to communicate the changes she would like to see during her tenure.
Having run on a platform to internationalize and enhance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at the university, she now has a far larger audience for her message.
“For me, the top two (focuses are) globalization and DEI promotion,” she said during a recent interview.
