Tokyo public prosecutors raided several locations Friday as part of an investigation into a money scandal involving former Economic and Fiscal Policy Minister Akira Amari.

The locations searched by investigators from the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor’s Office included an office of the government-affiliated Urban Renaissance Agency, known as UR, in Inzai, Chiba Prefecture, and a construction company in the same prefecture.
