Seven Bank will hike the number of languages used by its ATMs to nine next January so they will be easier for foreigners to use.

Chinese, Portuguese, Tagalog, Spanish, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian will be added, Seven & I Holdings Co.'s banking unit said Thursday.

Seven Bank has about 18,000 ATMs in Japan. In fiscal 2012, 190,000 overseas remittances were conducted through them.
