JTB Corp. said it will start selling Thursday five tour packages featuring Japan's World Heritage sites, targeting some 2 million foreign residents in the country who likely have already visited major tourist destinations such as Mount Fuji.
The "Japan" series of tours offers unique experiences, including viewing ice floes off Hokkaido and visiting historical sites such as the Iwami silver mine in Shimane Prefecture, JTB said Tuesday.
