KAMAISHI, IWATE PREF. – Map maker Zenrin Co. has updated its residential maps to include information on temporary housing built after the March 11 disasters, including their exact locations, addresses and names of residents, company officials said.
Homes and buildings that were washed away by the tsunami are still listed, but their contours are reflected by dotted instead of solid lines. The revised maps, covering temporary housing in 58 municipalities across seven prefectures, are accessible to corporate subscribers on Zenrin’s paid online mapping service.
