Figurines and other items related to the popular TV hero series "Ultraman" and "Ultraseven" are on display at a modern art museum in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The Nov. 3-Jan. 15 exhibition titled "Ultraman Art! Times and creation — Ultraman & Ultraseven," at the Museum of Modern Art, Ibaraki, features clothes, full-body suits and miniature models of architectural structures used in shooting the TV series that began airing in the 1960s.
Other exhibits include photographs showing the process of making the programs as well as sketches and figures of the characters.
