Mizuho Financial Group Inc. President Takashi Tsukamoto said Tuesday compensation paid to him and two other presidents of the group’s core units — Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Corporate Bank — will be cut by 30 percent for three months in the face of its lower earning capacity.

They also will not receive bonuses, he told the group’s shareholders’ meeting in Tokyo.
