Financial services minister Shizuka Kamei said Friday he has approved a draft for a bill aimed at providing financial support to small companies, including a conditional moratorium on debt repayment.
Kamei said he will submit the bill to the extraordinary Diet session starting this month.
Ruling party lawmakers and bureaucrats have been working on the draft bill, which was submitted to Kamei on Friday evening.
