Yukio Hatoyama will move into the Prime Minister’s Official Residence from his home in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, in mid-October, sources close to him said Monday.
The move will come after the official campaigns for Upper House by-elections in Kanagawa and Shizuoka prefectures start Thursday, according to the sources.
