Fukuoka Prefectural Police said Friday they have arrested two 15-year-old high school students on suspicion of setting fire to a homeless man's shack.

The 51-year-old man was away at the time, they said.

The police alleged that the two minors, who are students at a private high school in the city of Kurume, set the fire after 10 p.m. Thursday. The walls and roof of the shack, located near a river, were damaged, they said.

The two boys, who admitted setting the fire, said they did it because they thought it would be fun, police said.
