TAIPEI (Kyodo) Former Taiwanese President Lee Teng-hui plans to visit Japan next month, sources close to him said Tuesday.

Lee’s visit planned for Sept. 4 to 10 will begin in Tokyo, where he will address a business group, and will include stops in Kochi, Kumamoto and Fukuoka prefectures, according to the source, who declined to be identified because Lee’s office has not yet announced the trip.
