YOKOHAMA (Kyodo) All municipal elementary and junior high schools in Yokohama will be involved in a nine-year unified school education system starting with the 2012 academic year, the city’s board of education said Monday.
The 346 elementary schools and 145 junior high schools will be teamed to provide detailed education during the continuing nine-year curriculum, the board said.
