Japanese dancer and choreographer Fumiyo Ikeda has brought her artistic vision to bear on the plight of child soldiers in Africa.

The result, "Nine Finger," recently premiered in Brussels and will soon be performed throughout Europe. Ikeda also hopes her dance will soon reach a Japanese audience.

"I would very much like to show Japanese people this choreography," said the 44-year-old Ikeda. "I hope I will one day have the opportunity."
