Osaka prosecutors filed a summary indictment Wednesday against Duskin Co. and two former executives for allegedly selling meat dumplings containing a banned additive at the Mister Donut chain.

But the Osaka District Public Prosecutor's Office decided to defer indictment of the firm and the execs on charges of importing the dumplings.

The executives are former Senior Managing Director Shuichi Shibahara, 62, and 54-year-old Seisuke Sugano, ex-franchise operations head.

Duskin Co. rents out cleaning equipment and operates restaurant franchises.
