Mitsubishi Pharma Corp. said Monday that 201 employees had applied for an early retirement program between June and July.
They will leave the company on Aug. 31 and the company will book some 2.7 billion yen in extraordinary losses from the program in the fiscal first half to Sept. 30, the pharmaceutical company said in a release.
The latest early retirement scheme is the third of its kind by Mitsubishi Pharma. Some 150 employees quit the company under the previous programs.
