CHIBA – Prosecutors on Thursday demanded 15 years in prison for the founder of the Life Space self-enlightenment group for the murder of a 66-year-old man who was found mummified in a hotel room near Narita airport in November 1999.
Koji Takahashi, 63, killed Shinichi Kobayashi, 66, because he wanted to preserve his position as Life Space guru and thus retain his followers, the prosecutors told the Chiba District Court.
