Nissan Diesel Motor Co. said Tuesday it will recall and repair for free some of its heavy-duty trucks due to defects in the brake system.
In a report presented to the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry, the truck and bus manufacturer said it will recall a total of 699 trucks made between January and April.
The defect involves an air compressor in the brake system that can make it difficult to stop the vehicle.
