A symposium on the global food crisis will be held Oct. 16 in Yokohama to coincide with World Food Day. Featured will be a keynote speech by Dr. Amos Namanga Ngongi, deputy executive director of the U.N. World Food Program, as well as a lecture and panel discussion.The event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at Yokohama City University’s Seagull Center Hall, a five-minute walk from Keikyu Kanazawa Hakkei Station.
