Though typically noted for its natural beauty and some of the country's finest ski slopes, Hokkaido also boasts some of Japan's best cuisine.

The Hokkaido Fair in Tokyo's Yoyogi Park will feature many different dishes at more than 60 booths. These tasty treats will include various types of seafood, curry and miso soup. Some cuisine that is specific to the north will also be sold, such as Bibai barbecue chicken and grilled kitami fish.

To complement the vast array of tastes, locally brewed and imported draft beer will also be available for purchase.
