In a fast-paced game of dueling run-and-gun offenses, including 79 3-point shots in all, the Western Conference had the better scoring touch in the pivotal fourth quarter.
The West had 35 fourth-quarter points — neither team had a higher scoring output in any of the other three periods — and defeated the Eastern Conference 105-94 in the 2014-15 bj-league All-Star Game on Sunday in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture.
With the win, the West now holds a 5-4 series lead in the bj-league All-Star Game, which was first held in January 2007 in Ginowan, Okinawa Prefecture.
