Former world No. 1 Laura Davies of England is set to take on the men again, this time on the Japanese GTO tour at the Casio World Open next month in Kagoshima, golf sources said Friday.
Davies, four-time major winner on the U.S. LPGA tour, has received a sponsor's invitation to play in the Nov. 27-30 tournament at Ibuski Golf Club in Kagoshima Prefecture. Pending approval from the JGTO, she would be the first woman ever to play on the men's tour in Japan.
