Kyoko Hamaguchi, a world champion wrestler in the women's 72-kg division, and five other Japanese will travel to Europe next month to take part in international tournaments, wrestling sources said Friday.
Hamaguchi, gold medalist at last fall's Asian Games in South Korea, Chiharu Icho (51-kg), Seiko Yamamoto (55-kg), Kaori Icho (63-kg) and Norie Saito (67-kg) are scheduled to compete in meets in Sweden and Poland.
Miyuu Yamamoto (48-kg) will only participate in the Poland meet.
