It seems quite the norm for Japan Times film critic Giovanni Fazio to tell his readers that some movies (such as "United 97" and "300") are propaganda tools and not worth the price of admission, while writing glowing reviews for movies like "The Assassination of a President" or "Sicko," simply because they fit nicely into his leftist worldview. As a movie critic, Fazio is of no help because he's pretty much predictable in this way. For Fazio, a movie worth watching is one that indoctrinates; and a movie not worth watching is also one that indoctrinates.
