YOKOHAMA – Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. said Monday that it has started accepting advance orders in Japan for the Cullinan, the British automaker’s first SUV.
The Cullinan starts at ¥38 million, and Rolls-Royce hopes to gain new customers such as young entrepreneurs. Deliveries are expected to start in January or later.
The four-wheel-drive SUV, which is 5.3 meters long, has a 6,750-cu.-cm twin-turbo engine.
By pressing a button, the height of the vehicle can be adjusted up or down by 4 cm to enable it to travel smoothly on snowy and unpaved roads, as well as help people to get in and out of the vehicle easily.
