IHI Corp. said Monday it won a ¥20 billion order from Rio Tinto Group to supply four gas turbines for electricity generation.
Japan’s third-largest maker of heavy machinery and its Australian engineering unit will handle the design, procurement and construction of the turbines, the Tokyo-based company said. The construction of the turbines will be completed in May 2010, IHI said.
