A rocket landed near the Ground Self-Defense Force camp in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights last Friday, forcing some 30 soldiers to evacuate to a bomb shelter, government sources said Tuesday.

There was no damage or injuries reported, the sources said.

The 45 GSDF troops there are part of the U.N. Disengagement Observer Force in the Golan Heights and are based in the Israeli-occupied portion.

An official of the Defense Agency said the troops "were not involved in a military conflict. There has been no significant change in the situation surrounding the area."

Israeli areas have been under heavy rocket attacks by Hezbollah forces.
