Masaharu Gotoda, former deputy prime minister, will make a four-day visit to China next week to meet with top leaders, sources said Friday.
The visit, which will begin Tuesday, is being made at the invitation of Tang Jiaxuan, Chinese state counselor and former foreign minister. Gotoda will meet President Hu Jintao or Premier Wen Jiabao and some officials familiar with bilateral relations during his stay in Beijing.
