OSAKA — The health ministry arrested actor and singer Issei Ishida, 26, in Osaka on Monday on suspicion of possessing 2 grams of cannabis resin.
Ishida, whose real name is Issei Hoshikawa, was found in possession of the drugs at about 10 a.m. in Chuo Ward, according to the cannabis control division at the Kinki Regional Health and Welfare Bureau of the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry.
Ishida admitted to the accusation, saying the resin belonged to him and that he has been taking the drug for some time.
